Mala Village is a vision to build a home for the sacred work of teshuvah (תשובה): bringing the mind and body into alignment with the call of the soul.
Mala is a type of intentional community, but a community where stays are temporary. Its purpose is to help seekers deepen their relationship with self, others, and God, and then to return home carrying divine inspiration to help rebuild a more sacred world.
Come to Mala — a place to:
• Explore a living understanding of God and our role in the cosmos for the 21st century
• Experiment with elevating rituals including prayer, Sabbath, holidays, lifecycles, and the rhythms and challenges of daily life
• Challenge inherited religious habits that may keep us disconnected from God
• Receive personalized spiritual support to help each person find their own unique doorway to the divine
• Break barriers to intimacy within the self and between each other, because godliness emerges in moments of oneness
Nestled in nature in the Northeast, Mala will rent private cabins for families and individuals to make their temporary home. You can stay for a weekend, a month, a season, or a year.
Mala makes space for solitude and intimacy, alongside community transformation.
The kids run free, while adults remember why they are alive.
